Did you know? That back in the day for a short period of time the Haunted Mansion included cast members dressed as Knights to scare guests? The cast members would position themselves in certain spots of the ride and then come to life to scare the guests in their doom buggies. The cast members were all equipped with remotes so that if anything happened they could shut down the ride with the push of a button. Although it was successful amongst guests this was ultimately scrapped due to the overall costs and the implications that the Knights themselves would run into such as getting punched in the face by scared guests.
